Requirements 


PSP 7 This tutorial should be possible with other versions of Paint Shop Pro.
An image of your choice or you may use mine please right click
and save to your hard drive.
Mask mask12an.jpg  -  please right click and save to your hard drive
Greg's Factory Output Vol 11  - which you can find here - download - Unzip into your plug-in folder.
African Design.tff  Ding - you can find here - at House Of Lime or a pattern of your choice

This is my first complete tutorial of my own - created by me.
The Artist of the image and mask that I am using is unknown to me  but if you know who the artists are - please let me know so that I can give them credit.
Please do not copy my tutorial and claim it as your own.

1) Open Image - shift D to duplicate and then close the original.
Convert to layer
Add a new raster layer
Set Styles foreground to a colour from the image
Set Styles background to Nul
Flood fill new layer with your colour choice - I have used #FFE37C
Open Mask in PSP
Go to Masks Open New - From Image - Check Source Luminance only OK
Go to Masks Select Delete and answer Yes to pop up Message.
















Add a new raster layer

2)  Set Styles foreground to a colour from the image
Using Magic Wand - Tolerance 0 Feather 0 - Click in Centre of Masked Layer
Go to Selections - Modify - Expand by 3
Selections /Invert
Make Top Layer Active
Flood fill with your new Colour choice I have used #4B2324
Selections Select None
Move top Layer Underneath Mask Layer
Make sure all layers are visible - Merge Visible Layers
S A V E
3)  Set Styles Foreground to your colour choice I have used #4B2324
Set Styles Background to White
Go to Image - Add Borders - Symmetric x 3
Select your white border with your magic wand and flood fill with your colour
Select None
Go to Image - Add Borders - Symmetric x 15
Change your top styles colour to your original colour choice
Flood fill with your colour choice - I have used #FFE37C
Keep Selected
Go to Effects / Plugins /Greg's Factory Output Vol 11 /Pool Shadow Default setting
S A V E
4)  Add New Raster Layer
Flood Fill with your second colour choice I used #4B2324
Go to Masks New From Image as before and apply the mask again
Go to masks/ delete and say Yes to pop up question
Merge Visible
Go to Selections Select all / Modify/ Contract Symmetric x 18
Go to Effects / 3D / Cut-out Vertical and Horizontal x 2
Opacity 50 - Blur 10
Repeat Cut-out  Changing Vertical and Horizontal to -2

5)  Add Border Symmetric x 3
Select border with your magic wand
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Effects - Inner Bevel - Metallic - Default setting
Select None
S A V E
6)  Add Border Symmetric x 20
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your second colour choice - I have used #4B2324
Apply Greg's Pool Shadow again at default settings
Select None
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again

7)  Add Border Symmetric x 5
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your first colour Choice   - I have used #FFE37C
Apply Greg's pool shadow
Select none
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again

8)  Add Border Symmetric x 5
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your second colour Choice   - I have used #4B2324
Apply Greg's pool shadow
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again
Add Border Symmetric x 5
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your second colour Choice   - I have used #4B2324
Apply Greg's pool shadow
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again

9)  Add Border Symmetric x 5
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your first colour Choice   - I have used #FFE37C
Apply Greg's pool shadow
Select none
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again
S A V E
10)  ADD New Layer
Add African Design n size 72
While still selected go to Effects Textures/ Sculpture/ Gold Default
Effects/ Drop Shadow Horizontal 1 Vertical 1 Opacity 100 Blur 0
Colours/ Adjust/ Brightness Contrast / Brightness 28 Contrast 11
Selections None Move into position
S A V E
11)  Duplicate Layer - Image / Mirror - Duplicate Layer - Image / Flip - Duplicate Layer - Image / Mirror

Duplicate layer - Rotate 90 degrees Right - move into position
Duplicate Layer - Image / Mirror - Duplicate Layer - Image / Flip - Duplicate Layer - Image / Mirror
Merge all layers
S A V E
12)  Image resize 80% if you want to make it smaller Now
Effects / Enhance Photo / Clarify x1
Add Border Symmetric 15
Select with your magic wand
Flood fill with your second colour Choice   - I have used #4B2324
Apply Greg's pool shadow
Add Border Symmetric x 3
Flood fill with your first colour choice  - I have used #FFE37C
Keep selected and apply your Inner Bevel / Metallic Default setting again and while still selected
Depending on your image and colours you can go to Effects/Sharpen - Sharpen
If you don't like the sharpen effect - just use your back arrow
Select None

13)  Add your watermark if you wish to. Make sure your layers are all merged
14)  You can also Apply Effects/ Illumination at the following settings.














Now you are done!!!

I know this was time consuming and lots of borders but I am really happy with the result and I hope that you will enjoy doing it as much as I enjoyed creating it. I would really appreciate your feedback and seeing your finished result.
